Engine Ecology   "Making your engine run greener"

Reduced carbon footprint
A reduced carbon footprint is accomplished with our engine air intake system modifications because we are enforcing a cleaner burn inside the engine.  The result is a reduced carbon footprint exiting your engine.

See smog test results here.

Greenhouse gas pollution reduction
Greenhouse gas pollution reduction is being called for
even by President Obama of the United States who stated "For the first time in history we have set in motion a national policy aimed at increasing gas mileage and decreasing greenhouse gas pollution for all new trucks and cars sold in the United States".

Both the US Environmental Protection Agency and state agencies such as California Air Resources Board and the Texas Commision on Environmental Quality have already started to push this intention into a reality.

There is also (at the time of this writing) a new billboard in Times Square displaying "a real-time count of ... greenhouse gases we're pumping into the atmosphere."

Engine Ecology brings about greenhouse gas pollution reduction very simply with our engine air intake system modifications

Burn more fuel INSIDE of your engine
Burn more fuel inside of your engine rather than spitting it out of your exhaust with Engine Ecology's modifications to your engines air intake system.  This creates:

  • Less unburned fuel particles exiting the engine

  • A reduced carbon footprint (See smog test results here.)

  • A cleaner burning engine

  • A more powerful engine

We do this very simply with no refills needed, ever.  And we make no mechanical, electrical, electronic, fuel supply or emissions-control modifications to your engine or vehicle in any way.  We simply make your engine burn its fuel more completely.

The modification takes 5-45 minutes for most vehicles depending on the complexity of your engine bay.

A Cleaner Burning Engine
A cleaner burning engine is a smoother running engine simply because of the fact that less unburned fuel is bouncing around inside your engine, leaving all cylinders firing more completely.

A cleaner burning engine will also suppress the build-up of carbon deposits inside of it that would otherwise occur.

Any decent mechanic can tell you that less carbon build-up results in a cleaner burning engine. (As long as standard maintenance is applied of course.)

Better performance
Better performance is simple if you look at this logically.  If your engine sends 1/4 ounce of fuel into a cylinder to burn, but only 3/4 of that burns -- and it has to burn for you to get power, are you getting the performance you are already paying for?

Right!  So, what would happen if you could burn more of that fuel, knowing that the more fuel you burn, the more power you get out of your engine?

Exactly!  That's what happens with Engine Ecology's air system modifications!  Your car has better performance -- now!

Better mileage
Better mileage is a normal side effect of
Engine Ecology's modifications to your engine air intake system, however, we will not state any results regarding this to you due to the wide variety of engine and vehicle sizes and condition that can effect these numbers.  We will state that the most dramatic mileage result we have had reported to us was with a turbo-diesel engine.

The foundation:

Did you know that LIQUID fuel, including gasoline and any form of diesel fuel, does not, and CAN NOT burn?

More info:

You pump liquid fuel into your car or truck, and your fuel system's job is to then atomize (or vaporize) it for a complete burn.

However, in other than super-high efficient modern engines of only the last couple of years, a large amount of fuel is neither atomized nor burned.

Rather, it is sent out of your engine into your exhaust pipe as poisonous particles of unburned fuel.

This is what is called pollution.

The object of your exhaust pipe is to send those exhaust gases, including the poisonous unburned gases, out of your engine into the very air you breath.

Currently, in order to clean up this pollution, most systems are based on cleaning up what comes out of your engine long after the initial burning process.

We put our attention on making sure your current fuel supply burns more completely BEFORE it gets out of your engine.

This reduces your carbon footprint and gets you a more powerful and smoother running engine at the same time.
